'Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen' heads to PC in January
Surprise! Capcom's widely beloved action-fantasy RPG, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, is due to hit PC in January for $30. The original Dragon's Dogma launched on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in 2012, and the massive Dark Arisen expansion came to Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2013. Capcom announced the new PC version today, noting it will support Xbox 360 and Xbox One gamepads on top of keyboard-and-mouse controls, plus feature "stunningly high-res graphics and improved fidelity."
The PC version of Dark Arisen will include full support on Steam, Capcom says. When the expansion debuted in 2013, we called it a "sprawling hunk of supplemental content" and predicted it would "inevitably be billed as the definitive Dragon's Dogma experience." Earlier this year, Capcom unveiled Dragon's Dogma Online, a free party-based RPG that's out now in Japan across PS4, PS3 and PC.
Capcom is on a roll recently with re-releases: It's currently (and finally) working on a remake of Resident Evil 2.
